Hi. Here is my entry for the AMQ Jan-Mar 07. This is Tamiya's 1/48 scale A1H Skyraider. I used a resin seat, instrument panel and gunsight and photo-etch belts from CMK along with the kit cockpit parts. I added lenghts of fine wire to the engine and an engine flap indicator rod with a small length of stretched sprue painted red. The weapons load is from Hasegawa"s Weapons Set A. The "remove before flight tags" are from Alexander the Great via VLS. This was my first pre-shade with blackgrey along the panel lines with ModelMaster paints as a final coat. Weathering was kept to a minimum except for exhaust and oil stains and some dirt here and there. The landing gear , wheels, wheelwells and speedbrake wells were given a wash with a mixture of Future, black India ink and raw umber acrylic artist oil paint.The decals are from Aeromaster.
