Ayhan Toplu (atoplu) presents to us another superb model of an aircraft used by the Turkish Air Force and this time it''s a jet: the North American F-100 Super Sabre.

Great job on that one!
Were Turkish aircraft marked with a red square with white outline as national marking or is it an marking for an exercise/campaign? ie blue forces vs. red forces?
Thanks for sharing

Hi Jesper,
Turkish Air Forces used square shaped markings till 1972. Confounding of this marking with the Russian red star and because of the NATO marking standarts made that to change with the markings of today after that year.
