Finished up this sweet little kit, started on Saturday morning at the IPMS Three Rivers/Pittsburgh "Modeling Retreat" that we have once or twice a year. A bunch of us get together and just build all day, and B.S. Great fun! This model replicates the machine of LT. J. Walsh, VMF-124. I know, the Marines were land-based...but the flight deck looks better than plain white background, if you ask me! I used Vallejo Model Air acrylics, and light weathering was acheived with oils. Enjoy....

Thats one nice Corsair, I've always liked the birdcage ones the best. Nice weathering on it.
