This is a 1/48 Eurofighter made by Revell. This is my first go at showing my work in progress and hopefully getting some tips from others as I go. So far I have made the cockpit with the Eduard deatailing kit
I'm sorry about the photo quality I just cannot seem to get my camera to zoom small enough.
I did have the HUD attached but it came off during gluing of the main fuselage so I've taken it off now until the end.
The next photo is a bit of scratch building. As you can see at the front of the photo the kit came with an insert for the intakes which from the front was completely unrealistic. Having looked at pics of the real thing I tried to make it look better. I tried card, Plastic card, foam insulator and eventually after 3 days found a piece of garden hose that pretty much did the job. From the dry fit I have tried it's not bad. I glued the ends at an angle and because the inside of the pipe is black i'm hoping it will look quite convincing when it is glue together.
Please say what you think so far
