Brad sure is talented. The shading on the panels on the Albatros is fantastic.
Are they all 1/48th?
Exceptional work, thanks for sharing Stephen.

Hi Stephen!
Impressive work! Thanks a lot for sharing... I can imagine seeing his work displayed in a Photo Feature on Aeroscale or even better in a Portfolio. "A propos" Porfolio, have you thought about submitting Part 2 Stephen?

Incredible job!
I just pick up Roden's D.VII Ernst Udet yesterday. I'm really looking forward to start building it, after I complete the campaigns I joined. You WWI guys may have converted me!

Hi guys! Thanks for the kind words!
Stephen, given the extremely high calibre of models you yourself routinely produce, I must say that I am very flattered that you consider me to be "talented" and even more chuffed that you have taken the time to post some pics of my models!
:-)
The great thing about Stephen is that he is always willing to show case other modellers work.... Maybe we should compile a gallery of Stephen's great work eh?

Jan and all more to come from me no worries...but this is about Brad and his fine works.
Brad would you consider doing an online build? your gizmology on the Bristol engine would be a great start. I really like the way you treat your motors.

Stop the presses! New head lines read . . .Brad Cancian WINS BIG!!!

The report comes from another good fellow from down under.
"The South Australian Plastic Modellers association competition was held over the weekend. I was able to get along and take a few photo’s, so I thought I would post the World War One Aircraft entries here. There were not all that many, with our Brad submitting the lions share. . . Brad doing very well taking out a First and Second from the technical judging for the rigging section and a First with his work on the fantastic Voss D III in the Peoples choice, which was from all the aircraft entered."

Brad,
Congratulations on your well deserved awards for some truly outstanding work. Thanks to Stephen for bringing this excellent work to our attention. Brad, please keep sharing this work with us and maybe you could write a few words on your techniques as well.

I know i've expressed these sentiments before, but Brads awards at the SA pms comp are more than well deserved.
Brads builds are a constant inspiration to me.
Congratulations Brad!

Aww shucks guys, you are all too kind!! The work on here in turn inspires me to keep building these wonderful 'ol crates! The SA comp was a rather well run comp, and there were lots of entries, especially in the 1/48 prop single engine (non-rigged) category. To be fair to myself, there wasn't too many entries in the rigged aircraft category to compete against... but as always it is a very nice surprise to take home a trophy!
I am planning on writing up some "how to" articles on wood grain and on the techniques I use for painting engines as requested, just gotta find the time! (I'm getting to them, I promise!!)
Thanks again guys!

Brad,
those models are really one of the kind - very inspiring!
my question is how do you fade the colours on the models that they look so realistic?
Thanx in advance for answering!
