Hi Björn!

Nice one!

For the ribbon it is simple... I think...

- Design a 50 X 20 picture in .gif format (very important!)
- Go to the Suez Campaign page (Campaigns/Aircraft/Past Campaigns: Suez stripes)
- As you have admin access for this Campaign, you should be able to see an Add/Update Award Image link. Use it to upload your ribbon directly from your hard disk to the KitMaker server (make sure to use the same name as indicated).
- Once the ribbon is uploaded you can award it to the participants who have enlisted by using the Add/Remove Awards link.

Hope this helps...

Hi Jean-Luc et al,

I've already made a ribbon that should fit the description. Problem is to make it stick on the Campaign page!

Initially, I wanted to distribute different values (gold, silver and bronze) depending on the number of entries:

Even though some were close (gbkirsh with three entries, Betheyn and India11A with two each, MagnusF with one finished and a whole bunch on the workbench etc) there were no grand slams. Thus, I've decided to award everyone the gold ribbon.

Here is a gif version

Please note the updated picture of VonCudas P-51D Mustang above.

Also note that Cyberwombat promised to finish his British Centurion this week. If completed, he will also receive a ribbon.

Cheers!

Hi again!

As I said above, you should see an Add/Update Award Image link. If you clik on it you are forwarded to an upload menu where it is mentionned what number your ribbon.gif files should have. Name the original file on your PC the same (ex. 000.gif) and upload it. Once done it should show up on the Campaign Page and you can award it...

Duh...

I think I finally got it right... (thanks for your patience, Jean-Luc!). Shiny ribbons have been handed out to everyone.

A final summary will be posted later at Armorama. Great work, everyone!!! It's been a pleasure hosting this campaign, even though my own modelling career has been put on hold for a while. I'll be back, though...

Cheers!

Hi Jean-Luc,

Thanks for asking! The girlfriend is fine, and very pregnant!

But that topic is better suited for a private correspondence, don't you think?

Cheers!
