Hi propboy44256
You could be right. Black was used as a night fighter camouflage, (I assume, as it was in England) but was found to suprisingly conspicuous. It realy depends when you particular plane flew (what kit is it) I have the Revell 1/48 G-4 nightfighter, one option is all over RLM 76, with a mirror wave pattern of RLM 74. The other option is all over 76 with a mottle of 74, over the fuselage and large patches of74 on wings and tailplane. The starboard wing undersurface is black.
If you like PM me your email address and I will copy you the instructions :-)

So are you trying to determine if the top surface colours are RLM 74, 75? What kit is it? What paint make and number do the instructions give? What side number does the plane have? :-)
