I've just started on my first ever aircraft kit. It's a 1/48 R/M A-10. I've finally finished up the cockpit painting and am now ready to assemble the fuselage. In looking over the piece, it will be impossible to sand out the seam without removing some of the panel line and rivet detail. Replacing the panel lines shouldn't be too hard (yea, right), but how do I go about doing the rivets?

Greetings mauserman,
To sand smooth said seams...lay down masking tape over the details you want to save. That way you will have far less to replace. Depending on the severity of said seam...you may have to lay down several strips to provide a safe barrier against said sanding stick.
