the first thing that I am debating is what to do with my 1/32 huskie's exhaust.....

it projects from the rear of the fuselage for a good 4 inches...that's alot of visibility for something that I've had little experience in achieving a realistic detailing on...
here is my first idea....tell me what you think please....and don't hesitate if you've got another idea...
burnt aluminum foil!! you know how whn you've had a bar-b-que and used Foil to wrap a potatoe or what not...the foil comes out with a lovely brownish or black scorching on it???.
unless there's a better approach I'm going to experiment with the grill and some clean Foil to achieve the correct burn markings and then see what I can do as far as keeping it intact and getting around the exhaust...
