Ok - I'll admit it - I watched the movie
Flyboys a little while back and was intriqued by the various different WWI aircraft I saw in the movie. Looking around, I've found out there there are many more different types of aircraft used in WWI than I had thought (I'm more of a WW2 kind of person, with interest in aircraft, armor and naval subjects).
So my question is, what is a good available all around reference that gives a good description of aircraft from all of the different countries involved along with photos and drawings (color side views and 3 views)? I have Bill Gunston's "Combat Aircraft of World War II". Is there a similar book for WWI?
Thanks
Chris Neel
