This is Italeri 1/72 F-5E Tiger II that I built OOB.
This was a fun and easy kit to build, took me about a week to build. All the parts fit together nice. It is all hand painted.
I didn't have time to put the decals on before the Army sent me on a little "vacation"

No this is not an agressors scheme. I took the the paint scheme from the box and changed the colors to make it a desert scheme.
Here's the agressors desert scheme

:-) Very nice F-5E, I admire your hand painting, I only ever use an airbrush. I particular like the second aircraft, looks almost real and that shodow box diorama is just amazing, really looks as if she's flying :-)

The pic of the agressors desert scheme is a real plane, I just posted it to show what that scheme looks like.

I see where the movie "Top Gun" got the inspiration to use the F-5 for the Russian "Mig-28". Never seen the Russian star and the American isignia on the same plane before!! Would be a cool model!! I know they have a whole group of "Russian" planes to play with, never seen it though...
Great job on the model BTW!! Makes me want to go out and get one just to relive old memorys!!

Brian, Twobobs does a whole range of aggressor aircraft decals. F-5, F-14, F-15, F-16, and F-18 are all represented in various scales.
