Has anyone built the 1:48 Pro Modeler kit?
Any comments, warnings or tips?
Thanks

I've looked at it, but other things caught my eye more.
Pro Modeller models in whole are very good, I've never been disappointed. It's the price I don't like.

Alas...I see the Pro Modeller !/48 Republic F-84G and Focke Wulf 190 D-9 (D-11?) in a local store but they are too expensive ($20 for an American made 1/48 kit) I did consider the FockeWulf but I would choose the Revell Germany 1/32 SBD-5E...much bigger (easier to handle and less likely to lose the small parts) and to my experience,I never failed to put up a Revell Germany kit nicely...
And I have seen what they call "Pro-modeller" decal in my Revell Monogram 1/32 Hawker Hunter...that decal sheet is a torture for amateurs...

GrummanAvenger (my favorite WW2 bird BTW), open that RoG 1/32 scale SBD kit and you will find the 30+ year old Matchbox kit (kit #PK-503, look for that kit number somewhere on the sprue). A lot of the ProModeler kits are actually top-notch Hasegawa kits reboxed for sale in the US by Revell-Monogram with upgraded decal sheets.
And if you're looking for the ProModeler Fw 190D-11, I have one that will most likely never get built.
