Mustang Challenge P-51 DPosted: Friday, March 09, 2007 - 10:35 PM UTC
Voting was difficult but the decision was nevertheless unanimous: Roger Fabrocini''s P-51 D Mustang is our winner of the Dragon Mustang Challenge! Congratulations Roger and thanks a lot for the additional infos and pictures for this Photo Feature.
Rowan Baylis also offered Dragon''s 1/72 scale Arado Ar 234P for the second placed. So I ask Both Roger Fabrocini and Eetu Tahvonen to contact him via PM, because he needs your postal address to send you the prizes.
In name of Aeroscale I would like to thank all who have participated to the Dragon mustang Challenge with such fantastic models.

Excellent P-51! I love the Blue Nosed planes of the 487th FS
The plane you've built is that of J.C Meyer, the CO of the 487th
Major George Preddy flew 'Cripes a Mighty I , II & III
Don't know how much historical accuracy you'll be shooting for.
You've built a really nice model...congrats
Cheers,
Charles

As Jean-Luc has said, the voting was very hard.
Every model entered was very good, so congratulations to you all.
Well done Roger, a truly remarkable piece of work.

Great job on the Mustang. Especially the rivets and lightly worn look of the NBM look fantastic.
A well deserved win

Congratulations Roger on a truly spectacular winning Mustang!
And well done to everyone who took part. I must admit I would never have guessed how difficult voting would be - I certainly don't envy the judges at major shows...
I posted the prizes today, so they should be with Roger and Eetu soon.
All the best
Rowan
