Hello Ramão

beautiful models! Very good details and a great paint job!! I like both except for one nit pick ....

I think you dropped the flaps on both aircraft too much. I think they could not be dropped more than 60° and mostly were less. Yours are looking like 90° ... (this includes the lower cooler flap on the Bf 109). Maybe some more knowledgeable person will prove me wrong .. still it looks strange

BTW what scale is it ? 1/32?

best wishes

Steffen

Great job on those two birds. They look outstanding!

What version is the Bf 109? G or K?

Thanks for sharing

Hi Ramão!

Wow! These are fine looking German Birds!

Are the models 1/32 scale? I especially like the step camouflage of the Bf 109. Is this accurate? Anyway, it looks very good!

Congratulations for a job well done!

Great, I didn't know about that detail, the maximum angle of the flaps was 60 degrees. That will should get better in my next models. Thank you Steffen.
Yep, of version of the planes is G. And the scale is 1/32.
The shape of the steps on the Graf's plane camouflage isn't perfect, too, I agree Jean, but the colors was the indicated in the decal sheet.
Both kit are Hasegawa (no ads), the fit was superb. I built them in parts, I finished each one including decals, paint job, separated, fuselage, wing upper and lower, after that, I put them together without any fit problems. I was amazing with the quality of the kits.
Not a expert job, yet, but I enjoyed the assembly a lot.
Thank you mates, the criticism will help to improve my future works, then please, continue showing fails in the models.

Hi Captain

It is! it's a variation of the splinter camo (IIRC something like Sägezahn, but that might also be a post war invention) .. though I am not sure which Wnr. block /manufacturer applied this in what time frame ... best is to check references on the original to be modeled

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi Ramao:

I hope you did not get me wrong: Your models are really good! it is just that little flaw (in my eyes) that disturbs the scene ...

I quickly browsed through one of my Bf 109 books (Prien) to find the exact degrees for the flaps, but I could not find it .. BTW I believe I have seen a pic of a Fw 190 where the stearing mechanism (steel wire IIRC) was desroyed and the flaps looked like yours ...

best wishes

Steffen

Aaaah, yes .. I missed that one ..

the blown hood had no "retraction" system for the antenna so it must lie on the fuselage when the canopy is in backward position ... but that's even minor than the first remartk

cheers

Please, don't worry in showing the flaws.
As I am not an experienced modeler, I always build my models as the one of the instructions, but in this case, when I saw the red tulip on Graf airplane in Model Airplane Internacional Magazine issue #2, built by Geoff Coughlin, I was animated to build one of those too. Then I bought a decal sheet of EagleCals with the markings of Graf, and I put hand to the work. I have the Graf's Fw190A-5, but it do not have the Handsaw teeth in the camouflage pattern on the wings.
Hmm... then, does the antenna wire have to be more fallen?
Great, one more tip.

Thank you again,
Ramao

Hi again Ramão!

I didn't said the camouflage wasn't perfect. You really did a splendid job on your painting! It's just that I never saw that type of "Sägezahn" pattern so it's nice to learn something new...

For that, thank you Ramão and Steffen

Hi Ramao. Very nice. Both builds look great. I really like the BF109. I like the white tail on that one. You should take some close ups of them, again, good job, Wingman out.

Hi, sorry for the delay.

Yep Jean, the "Sägezahn" pattern was new for me too. Do not worry, only after I understood that you said. Language problems.

Hi Carlos, my neighbor, thanks. The scale of the models is 1/32. Is the age, 1/48 is being small for my eyes. :-)

Wingman, I'll accept your sugestion, I'll take some close ups of the white tail on the Graf 109 and I'll put in the gallery asap.

Thanks for everyone, your words are an incentive for me to improve my models.

Hi Ramão!

You can also send us the pictures and we can publish them as a Photo Feature. This way they will remain available for everyone and you will save gallery space...

Really? Do you think that my birds deserves a Photo Feature? For me it will be a honor.
I also have two another birds in the gallery, that I like a lot, a Bf-109 Trop and a Spitfire. The Spit was shown in March issue of FSM magazine.
How can I do that? Please, tell me as I make that. Don't worry I'll put one at a time. I'll ask your opinion, before.
Thanx Jean.

All the first time that I click in "reply" appears this message:

"Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/mgadmin/public_html/modules/SquawkBox/common.php on line 440".

Then I click in the Back button and only the answer goes now well.

Hi Ramão!

In fact you just have to send us a Zip file of the pictures of your models and we do the editing. Pictures should be in .jpg format and between 640X480 and 750X563 pixels in size. You can use the Support Center for that. We can also do a "Portfolio" of all your aircraft models if you want, like this one

I can't help you out with the error message. You should inform StaffJim in the User Support forum .

Wow! Sure I'll want one. If it doesn't give a lot of work for you, of course.
I'll send the first lot of pics in a few minutes.

Thanks
