Ladies and Gentlemen::
I received a E-mail from Jack Flash asking about the Albatros D.III and at what serial number was the central radiator moved to the right of center. I gave Jack Flash the information. I refer you to: "ALBATROS D.III WINDSOCK DATAFILE SPECIAL.SPECIAL " by Peter M.Grosz. page 10, photo 21, Upper wing of Alb.D.III 2061/16.

We are never to old to learn.
Blue skies,
Dan-San

It is the kind of thing we will always come to. Are we seeing what is? Or just accepting a rehash of what someone wrote thirty years ago? This is something that we will study. In one instance we something that looks centered in another its offset slightly but the plumbing is still centered then the whole radiator is of centered and the plumbing is totally relocated to clear the forward view. This also kept the scalding hot steam from hitting the pilot if the radiator was holed by bullets.
