Hi guys:
Yesterday I started the building of my Typhoon Mk Ib. The kit is in 1/48 scale (Hasegawa).
The draw back of this kit are the fuselage inserts as they have fit problems. A little careful work with that portion is needed. After a lot of dry fitting to be sure of the alignment I glued the parts to the fus. Some putty was needed. Here are a couple of pics of the result (in one side of the fus) after sanding and rescribing the panel lines. I believe that after a coat of Mr. Surfacer 1200 nothing of this will be visible.
Next Iīll post some pics of the finished cockpit.

Hi guys:
An accident had occurred to my Typhoon. I didnīt noticed that one half of the fuselage had fallen and was in the floor and when I stood up from the workbench I walked over it. The damage is serious, I canīt fix it. As I donīt have another Typhoon in my stash I canīt continue with this build for this campaign. Iīll see what I could do.

Wow Carlos,
Sorry to hear about that. I guess with things like that it's not a matter of "if" but "when". Keep us posted!
