Hey Guys

Can I use ordinary kitchen foil as a substitute for specialist aluminum foils (ie alcad).
As a figure painter I rarely get the urge. but got a p51 2 yrs ago.
TedMamere helped out with instructions but still have a long way to go (ie open the box)
but cant get specialist foil here unless willing to pay an arm and a leg and I can't afford to part with either.
also what type of glue should I use????????????????

Cheers

Chris

Hi Chris, yes you can use kitchen foil, the thinner the better. There is an article on Finescale.com by Bucky Sheftall that explains his techniques for doing it, you can find it here . Microscale & Bare-Metal both make adhesives specifically for foils. Hope this helps and good luck.
