Hi Mark!

Beautiful! Restrained weathering, discrete chipping of the prop; you did a lovely job.

look forward to seeing more of your work!

Outstanding and welcome!

Really a nice job on the plane, on my PC monitor the color looks good.

How did you like the kit? My LHS has this in stock and I have been eyeing it.

Overall, I would give the kit high marks. Surface detail is very good, and the kit comes with photo-etch parts, as well as canopy and wheel masks, which fit beautifully. The decals went on like butter, and look painted on, just beautiful. On the downside, there will be some fit issues when you join the front cowl to the fuselage, extensive dry-fitting and adjusting will be necessary. Also, the instruction sheet has a glaring error: on Page 7, parts E2 and E36 (landing gear outer doors) are labeled in reverse. Follow the drawing, not the numbers. Additionally, the exhaust pipes are not very realistic, I replaced mine with heat-shrink tubing. But the kit is worth every penny.

..........and loads of talent it would appear! Great job! Everything looks beautiful, and yes, those decals DO look painted on.
The only issue I have is that it's not sitting in my display case.
Well done!

Thank you kindly, Scott. Yeah, I seem to be disturbingly attracted to ugly planes, for some strange reason. Can't wait to start my SB2C! Yick!
