Mike Grant has come up with a very neat alternative way of applying that ball-breaker camouflage... the infamous Italian WW2 "Smoke Rings".

After seeing these decals and reading the review, I'm going to try this kit again. The smoke rings were way above my skill level when I built my Macchi so I went with the solid version instead. Below is a picture of my attempt and disaster.
