Here is some more of my work. This is the Tamiya De Havilland Mosquito Mk. IV in 1:48 scale. It was a very good kit overall, I have no complaints. The only thing that caught me with my pants down is that the alignment pins on the main gear tire halves are slightly off 180-degree opposite. The dry fit was, by 50/50 chance, aligned properly, but when I attempted to join the halves with glue, I was 180 degreess off. I was bewildered as to why the halves were not lining up! Not a good feeling when your glue is rapidly setting!
Thanks-
Mark/USA

Hi Mark!
That's a very nice Mossie! So the "Rata" wasn't your only good model...
What are you currently building?

Hi Mark!....

After completing the Rata this past weekend, my work bench is currently clear and awaiting a new project. This is perhaps the most difficult part of this hobby - deciding which kit gets pulled down from the stash next! I was thinking maybe the Roden S.E.5a (Hispano)(1:48), or perhaps the Classic Airframes F4B-4, since I haven't yet built a biplane. But then again, maybe it will be the AMT B-26 Marauder (1:48) that I picked up on eBay recently (but that will be a very involved project, needing re-scribing, scratching, etc.). Then again, I've been itching to do up the Pro Modeler Do-217, or perhaps the Me 110G-4. See what I mean? I can't decide! I must have 50-60 kits waiting for me. Given the fact that I will be 44 years old this Saturday, I better either shift into high gear, clone myself, or hire a troup of elves to assist me!
Whatever I choose, I'll be certain to post the progress pics.
Thanks again-
