Knows somebody this Kit? I have seen it recently and i was by attracted by the rather rare and obscure subject. I like such planes...and this one really looks strange...strangly beautiful;)
So, can someone tell me something about the quality of Elf kits in general? They are rather expensive...and i don't find anything about the company in the net. To be honest...i know only of two kits made by them...the floh and the albatros DrI...

Here is what I found;
ELF #ELF004 1/72 Albatros Dr.I
"This experimental triplane from the First World War was
a reaction to the successes of the British Sopwith Triplane
and the competitive Fokker Dr.I. Most interesting is the
combination of the well-turned wooden fuselage shape
and the wings with a Lozenge-pattern fabric covering.
The kit contains plastic sprues, photo-etched parts and
a huge decal sheet, which contains the Lozenge covering
and complete markings."
Possibly sold at; http://www.nkrmodels.com.au/

The parent company to Elf is or was Nurenberg MPM . MPM is the same as Special Hobby they just use a couple of different brand names, plus contracting for other companies.
Here is the kit out of the box unbuilt.

Thanks, Stephen...do you know some review about the elf kits? The quality should be similiar to the mpm kits, shouldn't it?
