Hi Guys:
After the accident with my Typhoon I enlisted again in the Campaign, but now with two entries. Both are P 47D´s. One in 1/72 and the second in 1/48 scale.
This weekend I started with the Revell in 1/72. The kit is easy to build but it has a lot of flash to clean. Here are some pics as it is today. Next I´ll start with the painting job and with the landing gears.

Hello Carlos
Too bad you broke the fuselage .. now you are back at the wrong scale ... amazing how fast you put it all together ..
don't roll over this one ...
best wishes
Steffen
P.S. I've just seen you also do the 1/48 Academy .. so your free to roll over this one quarterscale rules

Thanks Steffen and Jesper:
I´m also surprised that everything went ok and fast with this one in the weekend Now with the paint work I believe things will go not so fast.
I´ll post more pics as I advance with the paint job.

Hi Guys:
I made another change. I left the Revell kit and started to build the Academy one. I Finished the overall build and the overall paint job. I found the landing gears of the Revell kit to short and weak. The Academy ones look more convincent. All the paints are Model Master Enamels. I used a second shade of metalizer in some panels (Stainless Stell). The overall metalizer is Aluminium. Next will be the decaling. I believe that I won´t change again
I started to build my second entry too
