Platz 1/144 Fw 190 D9. Will be finished (if ever) as JV44. Havent decided which one yet but it will be one of the buble canopies. I used some spare PE's and frames to ad a little detail (ok it is slightly imeginary I know). The grills in the wheel bays were not done so I did try some stuff but failed utterly after 2 hours of experiments. Then I came to realize that roket louncher heads from 1/72 Italeri UH-1N kit was suitable. Well..almost suitable..:] So here it is so far:

Looking good so far. I don't think I could build anything that small.

Thanks Thom. With my super duper high speed and ever accelerating modeling speed.. phew!.. I finally achieved a little more progress... A girlfriend is sucking a man's time out even though she doesn't intend to ehehehe....I cut the canopy , masked it and painted the cockpit....

Hi Yalım
Good try .. but you did not even build an engine which can be seen through the wheel well .. .I am very sorry but you failed
Honestly and without joking: great job !!!
... thats why I build 1/48 .. I can at least see what I do wrong .. how can someone work in such a small scale???
best wishes
Steffen

That looks like a really nice kit for such a small scale. Personally I find small scales appealing, unless they happen to be biplanes. I would never want to build a 1-1/2 strutter in that scale, the struts would buckle like string.

This one is moving along very nicely. A very striking colour scheme of red and white on the bottom surfaces.
Looking forward to see it finished

Unfortunately she is struck by the cleaning woman and lost the right ganding gear. The project is delayed. I will buy a new set and use the LG.
