Just on a hunch, I made a quick trip out to Planes of Fame this morning. My hunch was right, this weekend's "Special Guest" has arrived early
So, I took a few snaps

Hi Chuck!
Fantastic pictures! I really envy you!
I will get back to them when I build my P-38 E for my Aleutian dio!
I received my "Fana de l' Aviation" magazine today and they wrote "Glacier girl" has a new owner: Rod Lewis. Obviously he still wants the plane to fly across the Atlantic Ocean to reach Europe. Le Fana added that the offer by Rod Lewis to Provenance Fighter Sales (the previous owner) was "something that couldn't be refused"...

"Glacier Girl" will be flying together with Planes of Fame's own "23 Skiddo" formerly "Porky II" a P-38 J this weekend
P.S. It's a good thing I went this morning, a BIG thunderstorm just blew in.

Hi Honey, come home soon!
She's based about < 2 hr from me. I haven't seen her since she started flying (thanks for nothing, Morris!) but if you know where to look, you could find my fingerprints on her...

Here's the scoop on her trip
http://www.airspacemag.com/issues/2007/december-january/FEATURE-glaciergirl.php
"Hinton", mentioned in the article, as the pilot for the flight to Duxford for the 4th of July, is the Chief pilot at Planes of Fame

So Glacier Girl is going to be at Duxford for 7-8th July - And SWMBO has already signed my pass for that weekend (note to self - buy more memory cards for camera).
Thanks for the advance heads up on this.
Andy
