Hi all.
I proudly present my bird, A-7D Corsair II 1/32 Scale Trumpeter kit .This's Trumpeter's 1/32 A7-D. I've made both the E and D and I would say that there's only some minor differences like air-refueling system and landing gears. The main problem is still with the cockpit glass, a noticable line in the middle of the cockpit and the thickness is quite thin, indeed. If you rubbed it too hard, it might break. Mine did break too, not apart though, so I need to rub it until it's invisible. A bit more area was added to the Snake Eye bomb.

I build one year ago, I build out of box .I use gunze acrylic for spray ,finish weathering tamiya enamel paint. Your comments are most welcome
Let to see.

Thank you very much

Regard

Oishi

Oishi,

Outstanding work! Based on the models you have posted, you really have the weathering thing down very well. Your planes have realistic weathering and wear. Thank you for posting.

Oishi one word…unbelievable. You sure brought this kit to life, and your painting and weathering skills are top notch convincing. Speaking of convincing…is there a chance you can gather up some photos of it during the build along with how it was built and how the painting/weathering was achieved. Then submit it as a feature, or even a “On Display”

You say the only problem with the kit is it’s canopy, how about the rest of the kit. Does it go together well and how about the cockpit, is it a typically Trumpeter cockpit, weak in detail. I’ve wanted to do this kit but decided to hold out for their A-6 Intruder. Thanks for sharing the A-7 and looking forward to your next model.

I agree with Joe. An "on display" would be great.
This is another fine example of a modeler who has vast talent and an eye for detail. Great job Oishi! Looking at your finished models makes me want to work harder on mine.

The Canopy is very thin and have mold line in the middle, when you remove that line the canopy will easy to break.

I also waiting for A-6 like you !!

Oishi,

Very nice! Great painting and weathering. My only pick is the noticeable seam in the engine exhaust in the close-up picture from the port quarter about 2/3 the way down.

Hope Oishi is still here?
Fantastic job Buddy.
Can't say nothing ,Beautiful all around.
Quite impressed.
Again great job.
I do have a question.
What color is that for open panels?
Reason why I asked is have a Hasegawa 1/48 scale A7E waiting until I get another plane under the belt.

The overly flat canopy is just one problem, as the intake mouth profile is also way too wide. The fuselage is also a bit too wide in cross section and the donut panel (nozzle shroud) profile is wrong. The model’s “as-end” tends to set or squat too low as well.

Typical errors for Trumpeter, but at least the funky looking canopy and spread open mouth profile can be fixed using Chris Zacto’s corrections.
