Hi all,
There is a IPMS show in Seattle on the 21st and I have decided to enter two planes. I have never shown before and would love to hear from those of you who have as to what to bring, how to describe your work and any other tips. I'm going to enter the P-39 I did for "Down Low" and I've started a Hasegawa Kyushu Shinden.

Go to the IPMS website & get the Competition Handbook, 2002 is current date. That describes the judging standards. Look over your model by those standards -- seams, glue, alignment, etc and fix what you can. Dust it off. No need to write much unless you've done extensive work.
Then, sign up for Judging. If this is your 1st time, you'll be OJT but that's OK. When you're done judging you'll have a real good idea what to do next time ... and it's a lot of fun !!!
And BTW many of us have won something at our first contest, so good luck !!!
