Hasegawa and Revell both make one in 1/32 both "D's" I think ? The Hasegawa is the newer of the two.

Is the Hasegawa one available yet? Or perhaps I'm mistaken, but isn't a new one due out?

Hi!
Yes, there Is a 1/32 P-47 out there.
Revell have both the Razorback and the bubbletop.
These kits are from the happy ´60s (early 70´s?) so the kits are not up to todays standard.
The shape of the cowling is way off, as Is the fin, landing gears are too long, wheels are too thin and wrong type, no landing gear well detail at all, and the cockpit detailing is a joke.
This kit can be built to a very high standard if you are prepared to do a lot of hard work.
From the box, It´s merely a toy, but the decals are very good.
Hasegawa will release a new moulded P-47D, bubbletop and Trumpeter have stated they will do the whole family ( D, both razor and bubble, /M/N).
Wait for those to hit the shelves, should be around fall/winter.
I will buy at least one of each, but don´t ask where to keep the finished models!
Cheers!
