Hi Mal,
There's no option to load photos into an April folder?
Here's Trumpeters 1/32 SBD-3 Dauntless. It is the clear version with all fuselage parts molded in clear plastic. This made checking seams a bit more difficult and the plastic was a bit more brittle than the regular gray styrene. I chose to do the -3 late so I could show the sliding panels for the rear guns opened. On the twin gun SBD's these panels on each side slid back to move the guns. I don't believe the earlier twin door opening was enlarged or even used in any way. The blue disks for the national insignia are airbrushed as Trumpeters were too blue.
VB-3 USS Yorktown (from USS Saratoga) Flown by Lt. Syd Bottomly and AMM2c Daniel F. Johnson, Midway June 4,1942. Pilot was credited with hitting a Japanese carrier and awarded the Navy Cross.

Here's my entry for this month. It is Italeri's 1/48 A-10 Thunderbolt. It has been airbrushed using Humbrol paints and has been weathered using several oil washes and mig pigments. There was a small amount of filling but on the whole it wasnt a bad kit.
(yes there is a little lizard decal on the inside of the front panel)

Mike.
The "Upload Photos" button is top right, just under the Model shipwrights and T-Factory Logos. Or at least it is there for me Can others check it out and let me know, thanks.
Mike is it possible to resize you pictures to max 700 pixels? Seeing you pics here reminded me of something that I ment to include in the rules, picture size, it is there now. It is difficult for most to have to deal with these large pics, in a thread and it will stop some from bothering to look properly at what is here.

If you click the upload button, then scroll to find the folder you want to upload to... now there's no model of the month folder at all.
Mike, click on the link in my first post, that'll take you to the MOM gallery for April, click on "Upload Pictures" and you will be uploading to the correct gallery

I was going to just now but there's no "edit "button?
Mike
I think the edit buttons are on a time frame? You may have to delete your post, change the pic size and re-submit. Copy and save your words to save you re-typing them.

Worked for me too Mal, but it didn't work for Courtney. It was only letting "Staff" upload, so I checked the admin edit categories page and ticked the "User" button and a couple of others so it should let everyone upload now.
OK Guys and Gals the problem is fixed (I hope ), so you can start uploading the photos now.

Thanks Andy, that would be my fault, I shouldn't do the gallery in a hurry
Thanks for the HTML edit Chuck. I had thought about that but, apart from forgetting the code I thought that it might alter the image quality. They also, still, seem to take an age to load. Mike has asked me to delete them, as he is ready to re-load them. I'll let him make the decision whether he would like to or not. Thanks again for the help Chuck
Mike, what do you want to do? Are your new sized pics of a lesser file size?

Yes Mal, as I said it was a "quick fix", it just wasn't a good one. The load time is effected by the file size and resolution of the image, all I did was to change the display size.

My first ever kit, and my first entry, if somewhat an ambitious one looking at the competition!!! This is Revell's Hawk TMk1 'The Red Arrows' kit, painted with xtraclor Red Arrows red and all other colours with Tamiya paints. Thanks to Tomcat31 for the use of his airbrush to paint the bulk of the model!

Hi all,
This is my entry, Hase's 1/48th Shinden. This kit is OOB since there is no after market stuff for this plane. Which is too bad as it was a good build, everything fit well and almost no putty. It would have been much better if Hasegawa just put a bit more detail into it. I would recommend this kit. Painted with MM Metalizer aluminum and Gunze acrylics.
