Hi this is my second Evil Wingy Thingy. It's the Tamiya F4J with Eduard PE, I am going to do a Marine version to dedicate to my Marine friends here. I have the resin cockpit but it was incorrect, so I have to go back to using the kit one which is not bad at all. I had used some artistic license here, J usually have grey/dull dials, but I like the look of a colorful cockpit, so I paint them multi colors. This is my first big scale Jet, so any comments are welcome. Thanks.

Dave aka "Da Hong Kong Connection King"
Wow!
Can you explain how you successfully paint detail this minute? All the pics are good, but the first one just blows me away. No wonder you are a Modeler of the Month.
ps: have you ever put together a "bad" model----(and don't tell me the M10!!! )
pps: Great work Dave, keep it up---your pics are always enjoyable--thanks.

Goosh darn it Dave don't you ever sleep !!! God another fine example of such excellent workmanship and this after the Bismark. Okay Dave do you have some elves doing all this work for you, have you got a crew working for you that does all the painting or something. Tell us Dave we might have to see if this is some kind of a Fluvian trick. I bet that is what it is Fluvian mind trick all these great models are not really here but in our minds that is what it is I must go to doctor to see if I can get back to the Matrix.
Fine job!!!

Thank you guys for your kind words. It really means a lot to me, especially from known Plane Expert, bender and BBW2.
This is the first time I do a jet, I have to say I definitely like it a lot. Now I only hoping the bare metal finish at the tail, and the canopy is not gonna ruin it.
I experimented alot with this cockpit. My first time using extensive drybrush; clear paint; future; white glue, etc. I have to thank all you plane guys here, as well as those from Aircraftresource Center for all the tips. Ladymodelbuilder, Marverick to name a few.
I will keep those pics coming.
And Field Marshall, if you think my name Arwenismineus is a joke, obviously you erred, I like to thank Ms. Arwen helping me with the paint whilst she cuddles with me as well....Honey, I am nothing without you......and good deal about ditching Aragon for me.... #:-) #:-) #:-) #:-) #:-) #:-)

Wow - (if that's the 1/32 scale beast) I've built it and must say you have outdone yourself on the detail. That is Great.
Note: if it is the 1/32 scale beast teh air intake subassembly gave me a small touch of trouble. Nothing a bit of putty can't tackle. Just test fit it a couple of time.

Top class mate, love the details.
Is it 1/32? I quite fancy doing a modern jet sometime, but thought 1/48 would be big enough.
Looking forward to the next installment. :-)

Not that I'm all that sane to begin with..

Wow! Such detail! Artistic license?! *GASP* Artistic License?! whatever are we going to do? I guess we'll just have to get ahold of the pentagon and make sure they change their color schemes for their aircraft from now on! No wonder you are the Master Modeler! I'd love to see what you could do with a model of the Red Baron's plane.. can't remember the name of it.. it was a Forker Tri plane I believe, not sure. I would love to get my hands on that model!
Three cheers, Dave!
