I also wouldn't weather a bird this much but I think it is very well done. Looks like she's really seen her fair share of the action.

Really nice Jug, James. I too like the weathered look on my builds. Here's a pic of the same Jug in 1/48 scale I started last year. Maybe someday I'll get around to finishing her.

Nice work. I like the weathering, my only thoughts are that red rust seems somewhat unrealistic, since the plane has aluminum skin right? Aluminum will corrode but it won't turn red like iron and steel will.
