Howdy,I´m gonna start a 70's 1/72 Airfix Me 110D .The painting guide
indicates Dark Olive Green (M3)=Humbrol 30= =RLM 71 for the upper surfaces. The box art shows the Me(squad. marks:5F+CM), "fighting" with a R.A.F. Hurricane (maybe The Battle of Britain). My question is :the early 110's used just the RLM 71 for the upper side

Hi VikMex,
The Official Monogram Painting Guide To German Aircraft 1935-1945 by Merrick & Hitchcock discusses that Bf 110s retained 70/71/65 during the Battle of Britain. A revised camo scheme was recorded from a captured 110 in July, 1940: 71/02/65. The demarcation line was raised (how far up the fuselage is not suggested) and it had "heavy mottling on the side surfaces."
