Greetings all;

Since Youtube.com opened Video capable people have started posting their works. One fellow Chromium2007 has a penchant for all things WWI avia. There are others with equal talents. These old clips are fairly common among collectors but give the viewer a unique attachment to this era. Then there is the cgi stuff, very entertaining.

Albatros

The Red Baron

This image series comes from A. Fokker when his vaunted early Fokker triplanes appeared at the front. All you need is some lip reading software.

My personal favorite. The real thing. though it has the wrong rudder.
A Tribute to MvR

Though there are many, many more these are a start.

In answer to a request.

Come see a living, breathing spectacle
Only seen right here
It's your last chance in this lifetime
The line forms at the rear
You won't believe your eyes
Your eyes will not believe youre ears
Get your money out, get ready
Step right up, yeah you, come here

You ain't seen nothing like him
He's the last one of the breed
You better hold on to your honey
Honeys, don't forget to breathe
Enter at your own risk, mister
It might change the way you think
There's no dancers, there's no diamonds
No this boy he don't lip-sync

Chorus:

Here's the last man standing
Step right up, he's the real thing
The last chance of a lifetime
Come and see, hear, feel ... the real thing

See those real live calloused fingers
Wrapped around those guitar strings
Kiss the lips where hurt has lingered
It breaks your heart to hear him sing
The songs were more than music
They were pictures from the soul
So keep your pseudo-punk, hip-hop, pop-rock junk
And your digit-al downloads

Chorus

(one verse skipped)

The last man standing
Step right up, he's the real thing
The last chance of a lifetime
Come see, hear, feel... the real thing

Visiting Youtube has become a bit of a treat. Here with the help of some video graphics and a vivid imagination the Red Baron speaks. I agree with the comment posted there...He should have the eyes blink and a hand gesture or two.

MvR speaks...well maybe.
