Here is Hase's quarter scale F6F-3 Hellcat in (then) LTJG Alex Vraciu's markings. I did a fair amount of work on this one, principally in the cockpit, engine and cowling and tailwheel well. The twist is Alex signed the starboard wing for me! I left off all the breakable fiddly bits and mailed it to his home just outside of San Francisco. He signed it and mailed it back to me, at which point I attached the prop, gear, antenna's and wires and the canopy.
