Greetings. This is my first completion for 2007.
An enjoyable build until I got to the floats... Took me a few frustrating tries to get them attached securely and aligned.
Rigging was done with wire loops, invisible thread and heat stretched plastic tubing.
The timber was done free hand with an air brush and the linen was preshaded and then the rib tapes masked and sprayed.
Thanks for looking.
Cheers,
Hugh

For anyone curious. Most of the Naval seaplanes had their wooden fuselages shellaced and very little wood grain would show through. Hugh has done a fine job on this build overall. I might doi it differently but There is so much about this build I like. The treatment of the ribs with cloth battens under the fabric is very similar to the allied undersurface treatment of wings. Hello Hugh,
Really a great build. As Stephen said, I like particularly your treatment of the ribs and the overal impression given by the model.
Greetings from Belgium.
