Hi. Just wanted to post some pics of the Skyhawk build. This is the 1/48 scale A-4 from Hasegawa done in the F version. Painting is just about done. This is my second preshade build, I think I'll stick to doing that from now on. I will be applying black for the anti-glare on the nose as soon as it is masked.I have to add some more detail to the landing gear and dullcoat the tire.http://gallery.kitmaker.net/data/500/Skyhawk_006.JPG[/img]The area where the flaps close has been painted red. I'm in the process of applying red to the edges of the gear doors. I'll keep you guys and gals updated, thanks for looking, Wingman out.

Hi Mike
It's looking great! I love the data-plates on the undercarriage... how did you do them? Are they decals from the kit or what?...
All the best

All the best Thanks Rowan. The data plates are from some spare decal sheets. I chose these because there a bit thinner. Thanks for looking,Wingman out.

Hi Paul. Thanks for the kind words. I didn't think to but now that you mention it, I think I will. I could use some red decal stripping to do it. Thanks for looking, Wingman out.
