Hi guys, I'm venturing forth into the world of aircraft and need pro help. I'm going to build a F4F-4 Wildcat as flown by Capt. Marion Carl of VMF-223 on Guadacanal. What would be the correct colors using Model Master enamal paints?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks and regards, Ed

Hi Ed,

I didn't find them listed in Testors for their Model Master line. However, they were Model Master 2055 and Model Master Acryl 4847, ( see Paint Charts, Navy Blue Gray for the blue). They do in Polly Scale Military Acrylics: F505088 USN Blue Gray and F505090 USN Light Gray A/N602

Hi John,

Many apologies, I forgot about you!

I have ordered from WEM before and been very happy. Though I haven't tried Colour Coats yet, I read only good things about them.
