Hi again guys
Is there a way of converting a drawing to fit a particular scale ie for making masks
etc??
I assume you would use a picture editing program but not sure how to get it fit a particular scale ie 1/72
Any thoughts???
Cheers Chris

Hi Chris,
Try this, it might help but it's a great program anyway. It will show the copier reduction / enlargement required for your scanner / printer.

If you have 1/35th scale drawing then it will convert to 1/72 and it will give the printer percentage reduction required for print in 1/72 and vice versa.

Simple formula.
Throw out the 1: or 1/ ...
Divide the "From" scale by the "To" scale ...
For example: 1/48 to 1/72 = 48 / 72 = 2 / 3 = .667 on the copier
Now masks could be a different problem due to the curvature of whatever surface you are masking. If you are using the reduce/enlarge of one mask to another scale, then it should work out. - if the kits are very similar in accuracy. If not then the best you can do is get an approximation and then you'll have to work out how to really cut it to make up for curves and differences in kit quality & accuracy.
