As you may have guessed i have FINALLY finished my first ever kit....a Revell Hawk TMk1 in the 'Red Arrows' colour scheme. Below are some pictures of the finished model, critique please, but please remeber i am in the hobby for fun so if you notice that the third wheel nut from the left is the wrong shade of grey or some similar fault please suffer in silence! Thanks, Choirboy!

I would love to see the model but you've made the same mistake I've done before and not loaded the photo correctly with the UBBC code. Please try again.

Nicely done, not everyone gets a kit finished that well on their first one. Only thing I see about it that could have been better is the canopy. In addition to dipping them in Klear, you can also enhance the transparancy of a window by using a fine polishing compound, I have a tube made by Tamiya just for that purpose.

Looks good - is it hand painted or airbrushed?? The paint looks a bit heavy, but that may be the photo. Really nice gloss red though - not an easy colour to do - even if the plastic is red to begin with.
Keep up the good work, and send loads of photos.

If my first airbrushed plane looked that good i'd be dead chuffed. I still make mistakes, but so long as you only make them once and learn from them it's ok. Enjoy the next kit - do you have anything in mind??

Looks great for a first . My critique would be the heaviness of the paint but as Bigskip said, for a first go its pretty good and gloss red isn't the most forgiving of colours either.
Seams look clean, which is a big plus.
Good work!

Good job especially for your first model.
A little practice with the airbrush is all that's needed for future projects.
Only suggestion for improving this model, it to take a little black or dark gray and paint the interior of the exhaust pipe.
Looking forward to seeing more of your models.

I'm able to view the pics now perhaps it was my computer having a malfunction. Nice bird hope the next one looks as good.
