Here are some piccies of my scratchbuilt engine for the Sea King HC-4 commando conversion. The Hasegawa kit is very crisp and well detailed. I am scratchbuilding the interior too. The centre portion of the engine is made from an old bic biro pen.
I hope you enjoy........be gentle.......

Wow DF, how many projects are you working on at the same time?! You and SS-74 are just churning out more and more projects! Keeping the modelling industry in business I see.

Sorry .... I had to look twice at this project of yours. As a Canadian we're used to seeing
Sea Kings laying on their sides with various parts missing and scattered around the back-end of our destroyers. Don't think I ever saw one standing straight up and down like this before. All jokes aside...another great in-progress work Martin.

Looking awesome. use biro pen for the engine, that's some serious scratch man.
Need more pics. I like the Sea Kings a lot too. I might do one one of those days.
Long Live Wingy Things!

:-) Verrrrry nice Martin,
I have one of these in my stash, if I ever get around to it I will build it as an ASW chopper. Where did you get the reference for the engine detail, you have me interested in having a go.
