Hi All
I have just returned from the post office with my copy of the new SAM Publications Modellers Datafile 10 on the BF109, F to K variants.
The title says it's a comprehensive guide - and boy do they mean it ! There's 224 pages of pure Messerschmitt "porn"
I'll give you a brief run-down to whet your appetite:
8 chapters ranging from development of the type, theatres of operation, training, foreign users, engine development, color photos and color profiles.
A further 6 chapters of walkarounds of F4, G4, G6 & G10.
A chapter describing 27 kits, built and discussed.
A listing of kits, accessories and decals, along with technical specifications and unit historys.
The walkarounds are in colour as are most of the engine detail shots.
It's all housed in a paperback cover and printed on what feels to be quality matt paper.
This is the first Datafile I have purchased and based on this wont be my last. As I pre-ordered, I also received a copy of Eagles wings, a guide to 7 Luftwaffe aircraft in 1/48 scale.
For the price of 18 pounds, I think it's an absolute bargain.
Now, where did I put that Hasegawa K4 I've been putting off building........
Cheers
Griffo

Hi Peter!
Thanks for the heads up!
Now with a little more text and some pictures this would make a perfect Aeroscale review...
