It took about 30 hours of scratchbuilding and painting to get to this point but the improvement over the kit cockpit is like night and day. The armored glass and bulkhead behind the cockpit was made from a piece of clear CD jewel case styrene. Seatbelts are from lead foil and the instruments from Waldron. I have not installed the gunsight yet because it is tiny and very fragile.

Outstanding job Scott. Like I said before, it is fun watching you build this and seeing what can be done with a very basic kit.

That's some pretty amazing sub-atomic level work. And I hope the canopy will be displayed in the open position after all that! Just excellent.
