Does anyone know where I can find some information online about the instrument panel of a sopwith 1-1/2 strutter. I am trying to scratch one and have finished a basic shape to fit in the cockpit, but I am at a loss as to how to arrange the dials, what color to paint the panel itself, etc. Any information would be appreciated.

Here is another version though very simplistic the brass is painted black and the highlighted areas are touched with fine grit sanding film. Wood grain would probably be more accurate.

Thank you for the info. I am currently working on the panel now. Had to take a break due to illness but I am feeling a little better today. I plan on just using it as a practice run for my wood simulation skills. I will try to simulate some dials by using plastic rod as a sort of paint punch, with some paint on the end, when i press it down on the panel it should leave a circular impression of paint.

Hehe, I don't let colds stop me for too long. Though, when working on my build today, I had to be careful not to cough too much, lest spittle contaminate my model...

Here's something interesting from the Memorial Flight French 1B2 restoration page:

Yes, I saw that picture too. I figured that due to the fact that they are still working on it they haven't finished the instrument panel yet.
