:-) This is the last of the 3 Amigos, Messerschmitt Bf 109Es, that I am doing for the Luftwaffe group build (other 2 are finished). This is Hans Jochim Marseille's Bf 109E-7 Trop, built from the Revell boxing of the Hasegawa 1/48 kit.
This is the camouflage pattern for the RLM 80 Dark Green, drawn on in pencil.
Partly done.
Completed.
Other side.
2 coats of clear are on and it's in the process of being decaled. :-)

Looking extremely good. BBW2, I especially like the little jig you made for the BF109. Is this the pilot whom got shot down later on, but received full honour military burial from the English? Neat Plane, you usual excellent work. BBW 2.
Now if you would join us pigs then you will be perfect. #:-)

:-) Dave,
That's my decalling jig, it also has attachments for helping to secure antenna wires, as you can see it's adjustable and I have 3 different shaped vertical parts. It's actually very handy, I think the material it's made from is called foam board, it's some arty stuff anyway. :-)

Nice paint job Mal, these 3 amigos will look fantastic together when all finished. :-)
Do you think this is the same "foam board" the Dio guys use to make stuff out of? Where did you get it from?
Roger

Nice job.
The fade to 'sky' on the bottom is nice. Those 3 planes are coming along well.
The board does look like the poster board that is used sometimes. Is there a harder 'outside' layer? If so I've seen it used a couple of places. The full on foam board is the same material all the way through. The poster board kind does not allow for texturing the surface as well. It can be purchased at hobby/craft stores. The foam board is used typically for insulation purposes and can be purchased at DIY stores.
