Hi Chuck!
Thanks for the heads up but Steffen Arndt (alpha_tango) is after this kit since a few months already. Everytime he finds the occasion he starts talking about it...
I've pre-ordered it though and can't wait to see if the car is injected or resin. Any infos about that Steffen?

Very cool!
BUT....... $28 USD! ...... kinda steep.
Has anyone seen sprue shots? I couldn't find any.

Aye, Captain!
but how does this work .. when I posted my answer this morning I could not see your post ?? I would not have left that without a comment
Honestly .. can't wait to get my fingers on that kit ....
@ Justen
The special part of the kit is that you get a Fw 190 A-5 and a BMW convertible.
The big question is: Will the BMW be a short run resin kit or a new injection molded one, which will later released separately? (see that ltd. edition badge?)
The Fw 190 will hopefully be a new kit similiar to the recent Fw 190A-3/-4 kits (though it is possible, that it is a Dragon re-issue, which would require some work to make a true A-5 out of it)
I personally hope that a Josef Priller figure will be included (like Rudel in the first run of the 1/32 Ju 87 G-2 )
No sprue shots I know of. The first possible appearance of sprue pictures will be at Hobby Search (http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/plamo/)
best wishes

Oh brother, sweeeeeeet! Now what am going to do with the 80,000 (+/- 79, 999) kits that I already have! This is cruel, won't these model pushers give us junkies a break! This monkey is hurting my back.
Isn't that "Pips" Priller? I am pretty excited about their 1/32 Heinz Barr A-7 they are releasing soon, but the 1/32 shelf is almost full with my ME-262 and Ki-84 (and 1/48 Ju-88!)
Regardless, it'll look good parked next to my Süßigkeitapfelrot Mercedes 540

Hi Fred
you are perfectly right .. I searched so much for a camo for my Fw 190 A-4 that I am a little confused. (I will correct the above post)
cheers

OOoooo... That makes more sense. I guess I should pay more attention.
That is worth the money considering how much the Tamiya 1/4 scale vehicles go for in retail.

Alright Chuck!
as all to often i was too less specific. I hope a resin or metal figure from some figure specialist (Takahashi comes to mind) will be included ... those Tamigawa "Mickerlinge" are really bad stuff. just see the latest Willys crew .... urgh (the Modelkasten tankers were good though) ..
Also hope the new Tamiya tank crew will have at least 1,70m scale hight as not all of them could be Hitler youth ...
best wishes

the photographer says, that car will be sold separately, though I might get the babelfish translation wrong ....
as I feard the figure looks like a mutant
cheers
Steffen
P.S. i did a little amateurish "improvement" to the pic ... maybe the figure is not that bad .. but very static

I have seen it mentioned several places that the car is to be sold separate at a later date. You were right in your estimate of the figure, too bad.
