:-) This is the Tamiya 1/48 Corsair F4U-1 that I am building for the Corsair group build, this is one nice kit, just hope I can do it justice. :-)
Cockpit in and fuselage glued.
View of the instrument panel, I punched out the kit dials and attached them individually.
Fuselage filled and sanded. Very little filling required. Wings added, little filling and sanding required.
Shot of the undeside.
I'm looking forward to painting this :-)

Looks good Mal, love that instrument panel :-) ,and thanks for the underside view
What do you use for filling? I'd appreciate a detailed explanation of the techniques, I have only ever filled and sanded once, and have no idea if I'm using the best method. )You might want to reply to this in the Spit forum - thanks)
Looking forward to the next installment :-)

Yep wings will be folded.
Roger
Yep the underside view was just for you (don't understand this fetish for undersides?) and yes we'll discuss filling on the Spit thread.
And Thanks guys
Mal
