Just got this kit today at Hobby Lobby for 34$ Looks pretty nice so far on the stems Just put a few coats on some of the parts with my new airbursh. just wondering but have any of you put this thing together? im gonna have it in a diorama and wondering about it All the parts look pretty dang nice to me So If you have put it together what are your thoughts?

:-) I haven't personally put this together but it is very favourably reported in the modelling press. There are masses of after market stuff for it, and the other 1/32 109 recently released. I can't give you any links, but the main dealers will carry the stuff. I build exclusively in 1/48 but these new Messerschmitts make me want to dabble in 1/32 :-)

Ok Cool Ill be taking some pics soon. It will either be in a diorama with those Motorcycle/Tank things pulling it on the runway or strafing a M4A3 Sherman.

Yep, late G and K model 109s were RLM66 interior color, wheel wells were RLM02 or underside color.
hope this helps

Ehmm What Exactly are those colors in Model Master paints? also Anybody know how i can mix Yellow? Im Thinking of trying dark tan and adding white

:-) Bender is right about the interior colour, as for what they are in the Model Master range I haven't a clue. Is the yellow you are mixing for say the underside of the cowl? If it is it would be RLM 04 Gelb. Sorry I can't be of more help,

What I mean is i dont know this rlm # stuff The Yellow is for the stripe on the back the rudder and the front of the nose

:-) Understood. RLM Riechs Luft Ministerium or something like that, basically ministry that decided on things for the Luftwaffe. I would have thought that Modelmaster would mark there range as such if not there is a table some where on the net I'll see if I can find it (Aiccraft resource centre, I think). Yeah the rudder, fuselage band and lower cowel would be RLM 04 Gelb (Yellow). This is frustrating I don't anywhere in the UK that sells Aeromaster paints, yet I can probably give you 1/2 a dozen other paint ranges IDs for RLM colours. The chart I mentioned earlier is the way to go :-)

Here's a link to a Model Master paint chart that shows the "RLM" numbers.

Hi Davehowell,
I have been working on the G-6 from Hasegawa and so far it has been a great kit. :-) I have not used as much putty on this kit as I did on the old tooling E-4 of theirs. You'll have no major problems, and everything dry fits perfectly on this G-6. I would imagine the G-14 would be the same way.

the colored band on the fuse between the tail and wings denotes which jagdgeschwader, or day fighter wing, the aircraft belongs to. a straight red band would be JG1
other solid colors are
white, JG3
green, JG27
yellow, JG52
black, JG53
blue, JG54
the other gruppes are a mixture of two or more colored bands
hope this helps
