Hello All,
I have tried the search for info on the B-52 models but have not had much luck in finding reviews, etc. In fact, the subject matter available is scarce.
So, I am dieing to get into building one. Kinda odd because it is the reason that I stopped modeling about 8 or 9 years ago. The revell kit just did not align. With my limited skill, the putty application was a mess and I got really fed up with it after brushing on some coats of paint. It was awful.
Are any of you familiar with any kits of the big bomber? Which do you prefer? Are there any advisable conversions, upgrades, or fit problems that you know of?
I can truly say that this is my Eleanor. It eluded me then and continues to faint me now. I would love to check this one off of my list.

Italiari recently rereleased the old AMT B-52H in 1/72 in updated form. I have built one of the old AMT kits and it has some fit issue's. If you wan't to display it on the ground you will have to modify the joint where the wings meet the fuselage to get the wings to sag properly. If you wan't to display it flying then your in luck and you are all set. Overall It can be made into a nice model.
