Here is one way to begin "flesh" on a figure.
Here is my rendition of the white metal body from Hecker & Groos figure with a resin bare headed Voss from Microsculpt. The mechnic figure is unaltered.

Hi Stephen
great figure!! Model Cellar really caught the look of the picture...
BTW I just like your kind of humor Hecker und Groos ... you mean Hecker und Koch, do you as in Balkankreuz ... sorry ... I am just glad nobody does that with my posts ..
For all who do not know Hecker und Goros : http://www.hecker-goros.de/
Great stuff, I especially like the little dioramas they make!
cheers
Steffen

Greetings all;
I have made a start on the three Voss figures from Model Cellar. I have one at 1/32 and two at 1/48 scale. The figures come one to a box and its sturdy. Four crisp resin parts. a head, a body / torso and leggs and two arms. As some of you know with the past threads I have done I tend to pin the parts together. Only use brass wire / rod and cyano glue for the job.
The truth about these kits is they are very similar to the Jaguar figures done by Mike Good. Each arm has a rectangular key that fits a cut out in the socket it goes to. The heads have extended shanks on the necks and fit into the torso very tightly. There is minimal clean up on these items and anyone familar with figures could do one of these in about 4 hours.
I began with the heads and have most of the basic flesh colours applied at this time. I will start on the bodies / torso & legs tomorrow.

Almost a year after this was announced this figure is still popular. Here is one of my recent contract sales where the buyer wanted a cutaway 1/48 Fokker F.I with a Voss figure.
