:-) This is the Hasegawa 1/48 Hawker Typhoon Mk IB car door. Finished with Lifecolor acrylic paints and kit decals, with artist oil wash and pencil paint chipping. This is a realy nice kit with a well detailed cockpit. The only enhancements I made were drilling out the guns, adding IFF wires from elastic and seat belts out of paper and etched buckles. :-)

This ones for Roger

Can we get a macro script in here that automatically posts a generic "Great plane, Mal" message? LOL

Good job job, Mal. Another fine looking aircraft.

What a great job painting and weathering. Man, I wish I could do Invasion stripes half as well as you. They look terrific! And the detailing...wow. Great job!

:-) Thanks guys
Dave, well you know I'm just trying to even up this board, far to much armour. Only joking armour guys I don't think I can compete with you though Dave, you are doing alsorts :-)
but you never know what might happen in the future :-)
Oh and flattery wont get me in the sty
Mike, The invasion stripes (actually recognition stripes, the Typhoon was getting mistaken for the FW 190. Don't see the resemblance myself. Invasion stripes were taken from this idea. The black and white areas are different widths) Simple to do, fix the wheel well covers temporariy in place, paint the area white, mask off paint the black. Mask off paint the rest of the plane.
