Merit International have just released a Duck. Not the Daffy or Donald, not even a hoax, but the J2F-5 in 1:48 scale.

Due this month from Merit International is a new-tool kit of the RAF's last biplane fighter - the Gloster Gladiator Mk.1. Hopefully, this will be just the first of a series of Gladiators and Sea Gladiators.

Many thanks to Paul at The Model Cellar for letting us know that Merit International are developing a range of 1:24 WWI aircraft. Two subjects have been announced so far - the Fokker Dr.1 and S.E.5a.

On the Hobby Search website we have found a preview of this monstrous model kit. There's no mistake in scale - it's 1:18. Merit International will release an U.S. Navy bomber SBD-3 Dauntless.
